RDFC at Wellingborough
RDFC Travel to Wellingborough Town tomorrow night to take on the Doughboys, who are now managed by ex-Diamond Nick Ashby.
Our opponents have just been promoted to the United Counties Premier League, which is regarded as step 5 of the non-league structure - with step 1 being the Conference, so there is quite a gap between the two teams.
Four of their side are recent signings from Rugby Town - our opponents on Saturday -with all four being ex-Diamonds Kevin Slinn, Tim Wooding, Andy Peaks and Matthew Green (although I admit to not remembering the latter).
They also have another ex-Diamonds favourite Darren Collins in their side.
The match kicks off at 7-45, with Adults £4 and U 18's / Concessions £2. There is also an old-timers game beforehand.
